Juventus Torino appealed to CONI after the disqualification

Thus, Juventus is asking for the decision to be annulled.

On January 20, the Italian Football Federation announced that the Juventus Torino group had been fined 15 points, a sanction that applies in the current season, for accounting fraud in some player transfers.

In the spring of 2022, the Juventus group and ten other groups were acquitted in this case, but the Federal Court of Appeal accepted the request of the federal prosecutor to reopen the case, taking into account the elements sent to the Italian justice.

In addition to the sanction that Juventus received, several former officials received suspensions. Among them, Andrea Agnelli was disqualified for two years, and Fabio Paratici – for 30 months, writes News.ro.
