Rafael Nadal withdrew from Indian Wells
Rafael Nadal, ranked No. 8 in the ATP rankings, will also not participate in Indian Wells, skipping Doha and Dubai.
The reason is the injury of the iliopsoas muscle received by the Spaniard, due to which he will be away from the tennis court for some time.
Indian Wells will be held from March 6 to 19, and organizers have announced that the former world leader will not be able to take part.
“Three-time BNP Paribas Open winner Rafael Nadal withdrew from this year’s tournament due to injury.
We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him next year.” said Tommy Haas (Director of Indian Wells).
