In connection with the stoppage of work on line 1 STA.SY on Wednesday, 01/03/2023, the workers inform. They also report that for the minimum provision of guaranteed social services, to serve social needs, they will work from 2 pm until the end of the shift.
Announcement in detail:
Stopping work on line 1 STA.SY on Wednesday 01/03/2023 from the beginning to the end of the shift, with the provision of social work from 14:00 to the end (Work from 14:00 to the end of the shift).
The government, methodically engaged in discrediting STA.SY and disempowering workers, with the ultimate goal of handing over critical sectors to the private sector, is leaving hundreds of organic jobs vacant.
This leads to the fact that many colleagues work exhaustingly, without rest, even as much as 12 hours with all the ensuing consequences!
Our Association requires the immediate recruitment of permanent and full-time staff with transparent procedures.
Instead, the government is pushing a decision on partial hiring through the draft law of the Ministry of Transport, which will be another “patch” in the company’s problem.
For this reason, we have decided to go on strike on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from the beginning to the end of the shift, asking for the immediate hiring of permanent and regular staff.
To prepare the mobilization, all legal procedures were followed, so the notification of fellow travelers about it was delayed.
However, for the minimum provision of a guaranteed social service, servicing social needs, we will work from 2 pm until the end of the shift!
We demand decent work and the recruitment of full-time and permanent staff in a transparent manner.
