
With music, dancing, an abundance of Lenten dishes, kites and a rich program for children and adults, everyone enjoyed Kuluma in a big celebration organized in the Antonis Tritsis Metropolitan Park by the Attica Region in cooperation with the municipalities of Ilio. and Agios Anargyro Kamatero.
From the very beginning, the governor of the region, Yorgos Patulis, welcomed the arriving guests, who soon flooded the neighborhood and entertained with traditional music and dances, as well as tasting traditional Lenten dishes, the protagonist of which was bean salad.
There was also a lot of entertainment for children who, with groups of park workers, were engaged in building and flying kites, and the smallest had fun on the “preppy track” and played with inflatable toys.
The fun was intensified by the music and songs of well-known bands (Vangelis Konithopoulos, Maria Anamaterou, Lefteris Bafaloukos, Giannis and Tseni Katzigianni, Nikos Fakaros) alternated on stage, while local clubs danced traditional dances.
Together with Mr. Patoulis, Mayors Ilio N. Zenetos and Ag. Anargiron-Kamateru S. Tsirbas, who wished the townspeople a happy Great Lent.
The celebration was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Deputy Governor of the Western Sector A. Leotsakos, Deputy Governor of the Region for Education H. Alexandratos, Director of the Antonis Tritsis Park in the capital M. Hatsiatanasiou. and others.
