If the insults expressed by the rapidist gallery were at the premiere, then perhaps such an approach of the president of the Federal Republic of Germany could have a basis, but when an attempt is made to make some profit from some “recidivists”, we believe that this is too much.

In the 2022/23 season alone, there were 4 episodes in which Giulești fans showed unsportsmanlike behavior, and it should not be forgotten that during the match for the Romanian Super Cup (organized by FRH), apart from the mischief, this “well-known and extremely highly rated gallery at the European level “, threw objects and liquids on the field, the FRH Disciplinary Commission fined her behavior.

Literally a week later, in the inaugural match of the Flower League, in the Rapid Hall (organizer of CS Rapid Bucharest), we witnessed the same trifles addressed not only to the most valuable Romanian handball player of all time – Cristina Nyagu – but also to the coach Adrian Vasile, as well as during displaying a huge banner with the inscription “City hall team – shame of Romania” – a moment when FRH no longer saw fit to intervene, although the image that CSM has created for almost 10 years in Europe is one of productivity and quality.

At least the Romanian Handball Federation should not fall into this sin and should focus its efforts on the game of handball and the show on the field, about which there was too little talk, and not offer changing “arguments” and at the same time confirm the behavior of the suburbanites.

With this review, with 5 specific episodes of inappropriate behavior and with the smallest fine given to the club Rapid chronologically applied to episode number 2, we can express our opinion that the situation could have been avoided if FRH had taken the decisive measures that were imposed . Because we are talking about relapse. And for an honest and civilized supporter of CSM Bucharest, it is an even greater insult that the national forum, with the voice of its president, tries to find mitigating circumstances for insults and trifles, when the main concern should be the health and cleanliness of the sports environment. And all this in the conditions when the institutions of the Romanian state themselves reported what happened during the last confrontation in Polivalent and started an investigation, and a number of important sponsors of Romanian handball raised questions about the tolerance of some such behavior.
