Recall campaigns are commonplace in the automotive industry. Indeed, as soon as a problem occurs in a car that affects a series of copies, manufacturers install this device to fix it. This usually happens due to serious problems that can endanger the driver or other road users. We remember in particular Peugeot which recalled its new 208 due to the risk of fire. And no manufacturer was spared, as even Ferrari suffered from a brake fluid reservoir problem.

More than 200,000 cars
Today, it’s another manufacturer’s turn to get people talking. This is Volkswagen, and in general, a German group. Indeed, the latter has just discovered the problem on a few of its vehicles, while more than 220,000 cars will be affected. Nothing too dramatic as the problem is software related, while the incompatibility of a few features will cause the system to tire pressure control would not work properly. So the car is unable to detect the deflation, so you have to do it yourself by checking the pressure. Fortunately, this problem is easily fixed.
Audi and Volkswagen
It is about several models, including Volkswagen Golf, Tiguan, Jetta and Atlas, as well as the Audi A3 and Q3 produced between November 2018 and April 2021. If it is only the models sold in the United States at the moment, then surely this should also apply to certain examples sold on the Old Continent as well.. Volkswagen will still contact customers if this is indeed the case to they went to the workshop.
