
Hubert Gurkach justified his status as the main favorite and won the ATP 250 tournament in Marseille, defeating Benjamin Bonzi in the final.

Gurkach, who is ranked 11th in the world, defeated the Frenchman Bonzi (60 ATP) in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(4). The game lasted an hour and a half.
Hubert served no less than 19 aces, while his opponent finished the game with 4.
Also at the competition in France, the athlete from Poland defeated Leandro Riedo (133 ATP), Mikael Imer (69 ATP) and Alexander Bublyk (50 ATP).

- 26-year-old Gurkach won his sixth career title. Hubert, a 2021 Wimbledon semifinalist, also triumphed in Winston-Salem (2019), Delray Beach, Miami Masters, Metz (2021) and Halle (2022).
