North Korea: launch of four cruise missiles

OUR North Korea North Korea’s Central News Agency (KCNA) said four Hwasal-2 cruise missiles were fired into waters off its east coast on Thursday.

It is reported that four missiles hit the intended target, covering a distance of 2000 kilometers in a time of 10,208–10,224 seconds.

The exercise demonstrates Pyongyang’s ability to launch a “deadly nuclear counterattack against enemy forces,” according to the KCNA.

The new missile tests come days after Pyongyang fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) and threats from Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who warned the US to stop naval exercises near her country because otherwise case, the Pacific Ocean will turn into a “polygon”.
