French schools today honored the memory of the victim with a moment of silence.
“Her name was Anise Lassalle. He died yesterday in a high school class in Saint-Jean-de-Lys,” French Education Minister Pape Diagé told students at a school in eastern France.
“Today is a time of emotion and solidarity,” he said.
