Announcement – a response to reports of his involvement in financial fraud that caused damage to the state by 22 million euros, was published Nikos Koklonis.

As he notes: “I will not allow anyone to discredit me or my companies, which employ hundreds of honest workers, and I will take all legal action against those who publish or reproduce false news or illegally use personal or corporate data.”

Regarding the Documento publication that mentions my name and that I am under investigation for money laundering, I clarify that:

1) I have been working professionally for the last 20 years in more than 7 countries, having business in various industries. My professional activities, as well as my business, have been repeatedly audited around the world, and I have never been charged with anything illegal.

2) I wonder how Documento knows that I am under the control of some Authority, while I, “controlled”, was not notified of anything significant.

3) My professional activity in recent years in Greece is related to the production of well-known TV shows broadcast by almost all national TV channels. The TV programs of my enterprises are available to everyone through the stations. Costs and payments are transparent and accessible to all and relate to journalists and vendors, as well as other corporate obligations. This has been found in at least five financial audits conducted in recent years. Also on a personal level, the authorities have at their disposal my location, which fully shows the sources of my income around the world.

4) It is a constant principle of my companies and me to cooperate and assist the authorities in doing their job. We will do this in the future as needed.
