Former 2020 tournament winner Andriy Rublev (5 ATP) was knocked out by Australian Open quarter-finalist Jiri Legechka in the ATP quarterfinals in Doha on Thursday.

The ATP Doha No. 1 favorite won the first set 6-4 and the next two belonged to the Czech, who won 6-4, 6-3.

The match lasted one hour and 42 minutes, each set was equal in time at 34 minutes.

Lehechka, who is ranked 52nd in the world, will meet in the semifinals of the tournament with Andy Murray, who beat Alexander Muller with a score of 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

The Qatar ExxonMobil Open (Doha) will be held from February 20 to 26 on hard, is part of the ATP 250 category and has a total prize fund of $1,377,025. The titular champion is Roberto Bautista Agut (2022).
