Pre-season tests for the 2023 Formula 1 season started in Bahrain on Thursday, and Max Verstappen (RedBull) was the fastest in the first part of the day. The greatest number of laps was marked by Williams through Alex Albon.

Max Verstappen, fastest in the first part of practice on Thursday

Westappen (champion of the last two years in the Grand Circus) stopped the clock at 1:32.959. The Dutchman drove 71 laps on the track in Bahrain.

Second in the first part of the test day was Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz (1:33.253). The Spaniard drove 72 laps.

Alex Albon (Williams – 1:33.671) became the third, he has the most laps on time – 74.
