Tesla cars are among the most technologically advanced today. And, to be honest, it has been like that for a long time. Because since 2012, when the Model S appeared in the range, the American manufacturer has never done anything like others, offering the largest touch screen on the market with a diagonal of 17 inches in a vertical position. So much so that some describe the brand’s models as real smartphones on wheels. It is true that Tesla cars are real concentrates of technology, including autonomous driving and even netflix and video games.

New version

For several years, Teslas have been equipped with software version HW3, which simply stands for Hardware 3. This then offers many features such asAutopilot, among others. But now a new version is about to appear. It’s no surprise that Hardware 4 will be unveiled at Cybertruck, which should see the light of day this year. It will, in particular, integrate additional cameras and offer new, even more advanced functions, particularly with regard to semi-autonomous driving. The processor will also be more efficient.

No update

Unfortunately, people who already own a certain make of car will not be able to update their car to take advantage of this new software. Thus, cars already in circulation can quickly become obsolete, even if remote updates should always be offered to owners. Tesla’s goal, apparently, is to encourage customers to buy a newer, newer model.
