
The request for an extraordinary meeting of the Committee on Institutions and Transparency was submitted in a letter by the deputies of SYRIZA, who are members of the committee.
SYRIZA deputies talk about the use of virtual invoices and ask to call the President of the Independent State Revenue Office and the Governor of the Energy Regulatory Authority.
In particular, the deputies of SYRIZA ask:
“1. Immediate call of the President of the Independent State Revenue Authority on the issue created using virtual invoices issued by Ionia Techniki and KYRA SA. and which ended up in the interests of Messrs. Lavranos and Gerakis. And, according to the complaints of journalists, instead of to entrust the investigation to a special audit team that would investigate all disclosures, the investigation was cut into pieces with obvious results.The case is of serious institutional interest, on the one hand, because of the involvement of the KRIKEL company in the wiretapping scandal, and on the other hand, because of -for suspicions of undermining the objectivity of the MARC survey company.
2. Immediately call the Energy Regulatory Authority and submit: a) an opinion on the excess profits in electricity production for the period October 2021 to June 2022 and b) an opinion on the excess profits in the supply of electricity for the period August 2022-October 2022.
The presence of the RAE in the Committee on Institutions and Transparency is considered necessary and urgent in order to provide adequate and sufficient information to the members of the Ad Hoc Standing Committee on Institutions and Transparency on the methodology used in calculating excess profits in electricity generation and then in the supply (retail market) of electricity. We remind you that the data for calculating the electricity generation surplus were not brought to the attention of the SYRIZA-PS deputies, who requested their deposition with application No. 44/11.11.2022 on the deposition of deputy documents, despite the fact that they were sent to the On November 21, 2022, and also on the basis of Law 4994/22, article 40, RAE was required to submit a report on excess profits from the supply of (retail) electricity for the period August 2022 – October 2022″
