Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russia’s ability to produce weapons should not be “overestimated”, urging allies to expand sanctions against Russian missile companies, CNN reports.

“Our partners have a tool to suppress this production, namely sanctions. For example, we proposed a very specific list of Russian structures engaged in the production of missiles. So impose sanctions on them, make life difficult for them and stop the production of missiles,” he told CNN.

Citing growing concern in Europe that ammunition stocks were running low, Kuleba declared that “there will never be enough ammunition as long as the war continues.”

“Yes, if you ask me what we need most here and now, I would say artillery ammunition. If you ask me to imagine that this problem is solved, what will happen next, I would say that the howitzers will use this ammunition,” said the foreign minister.

“Business needs contracts, and to have contracts, money is needed. Therefore, if governments want to support Ukraine, they can finance their own companies, contracting the production of ammunition and other weapons, and we are working on this,” Kuleba continued.
