Ecuador, a country in northwestern South America, has seized so many shipments of cocaine that it is considering using them as building materials.
Brick-shaped packets of cocaine were chosen to be used exactly as their shape suggests, for building bricks.
The country, also known by its Spanish name Ecuador, seizes so many packs of cocaine every week that they cannot be stored safely.
So he came up with the idea to use many of them as building material after special treatment at the recycling site.

In particular, hundreds of packets of cocaine enter the processing plant along with … ordinary waste. There, special machines crush all the bags along with the rest of the garbage, and then mix them with cement, sand and water to get useful building materials.
About 350 tons of cocaine have already been used, factory managers say.
This method is four times faster than burning cocaine and enjoys the full support of the competent UN agency. Ecuador intends to implement it on an increasing scale, as the benefits are numerous.
