In the world of cars, there are iconic models whose careers are believed to last forever. However, while the industry has seen many changes in recent years, manufacturers tend to remove their most legendary cars in order to completely revamp their catalog. We’re thinking in particular of the Volkswagen Golf, as well as the Twingo, which is also soon to disappear for good Electric Renault 5. But that’s not all, of course. There will also be many changes at Audi, especially with the end of the famous R8. But another model will also go there.
The Audi RS 4 Avant experience. Take control of the V6 2.9 TFSI engine, which develops 450 hp. and 600 Nm, all perfectly controlled by the quattro permanent all-wheel drive.

The end of an era
This is the Audi TT, the first generation of which was officially presented in 1998. But now, more than 25 years and three generations later, the brand’s iconic model with four rings is about to retire. Obviously, very sad news for fans of the manufacturer, which plans to stop production of thermal cars in order to focus on electric cars anyway. However, an indirect replacement would be in the cards, but this one would obviously be equipped with a zero emission engine. No additional information has been provided at this time.
Special series
But before its final release, the Audi TT will offer itself one last special series, which will then be released to the market since March for delivery in April. It then takes the name Final Edition, very simply. In addition, it stands out with a lacquered black finish on the mirrors or rear spoiler, and 20-inch wheels complete the package. Many additional equipment is also included as standard, such as a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
