
The two candidates for the position of the Prosecutor General of Romania will be interviewed on Monday before the commission led by the Minister of Justice Catalin Preda.
The current head of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Gabriela Scutea, and Alex Florin Florenza of the Office for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism will participate in the interview for the position of Prosecutor General.
Alex Florin Florenza will participate in the interview on February 20 at 10:00, while Gabriela Scutea is scheduled for the same date, from 12:00.
At the end of last year, the Ministry of Justice announced that from February 20 to 23, 2023, the prosecutors participating in the selection will hold an interview at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice in the presence of the Minister of Justice and the commission. in Bucharest, an interview that consists of supporting the project to fulfill the specific mandate of the management position for which he is applying, checking the management and communication skills of the candidate and assessing aspects related to the candidate’s attitude to the value of the profession and the position he is applying for .
The results of the selection will be published on the website of the Ministry of Justice on February 27, and the reasoned proposals of the Minister of Justice will be forwarded to the Section for Prosecutors of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on the same day for issuing its reasoned advisory opinion.
