Turkey: Seven Syrian family members who escaped the earthquake died in a fire

Seven family members died in the fire Pullerwho took refuge in the central Turkey after the February 6th earthquake.

The family left Nurdai district in Gaziantep province and took refuge with relatives in Iconio.

The fire broke out early in the morning from the stove, which they used to heat the small brick house in which they lived.

According to Anadolu, the seven dead were a married couple and their five children, aged 13, 8, 6 and 4. Five more family members were injured.

According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Turkey is home to 3.7 million Syrian refugees who fled their country to escape the war.
