Two fatal accidents, with the same number of deaths, occurred in recent hours in his districts. Thessalonikias the police said.

The first happened on Thursday evening (16.02) on the old national road Thessaloniki – Veria, on the height of Chalcedona, where I.Kh. The car veered off course and crashed into a lamppost. As a result, the 34-year-old passenger of the car was killed, and the 35-year-old driver was slightly injured.

A few hours later, a second accident occurred in the lane of Lagada Street, in which a 37-year-old motorcyclist died. The motorcycle the 20-year-old was riding veered off course and “hit” a metal lamp post, fatally injuring the driver. The passenger escaped with minor injuries.

A preliminary investigation is being carried out by the relevant traffic police services.
