In 1992, the Glavinov family, madly in love with mountains and skiing, decided that it was time to make their dream a reality, and they were convinced that they would achieve it with a lot of hard work and perseverance. Without hesitation and without grandiose aspirations, the founders of DIELSPORT started something truly unexpected even for themselves. With two sewing machines bought second-hand, the company begins its onward and upward journey, which very quickly reaches incredible heights. The first 300 units of ski clothing aroused great interest among customers and imperceptibly DIELSPORT’s work begins to develop rapidly.

DIELSPORT sets foot in Antarctica

2003 year

DielSport is proud to participate in the work of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute, contributing to the provision of professional cold clothing for all Antarctic expeditions. Developed with special technology that allows to achieve maximum comfort and durability in the harsh climatic conditions of Antarctica, layered clothing is not only practical, but also very impressive in its vision. All the participants of the expedition, who practically convinced themselves of the high quality of waterproof pants, outerwear made of breathable material, down jackets, windbreakers, etc. prepared for them, they gratefully turn to DIELSPORT.

It is no coincidence that the logo of the brand depicts the silhouette of a drop – this is what gives the feeling of the superiority of personal comfort over the extreme cold that the Antarctic winter gives. According to the famous Bulgarian scientist Hristo Pimpirev, many Bulgarian polar explorers were forced to spend the night in ice caves, where it is extremely important to rely not only on their own skills and qualities, but also on clothing. All those who set foot on the frozen land of Antarctica face such challenges, and it is for these people that DIELSPORT stands steadfastly, with great hope and inspiration to conquer new heights.

More from the Olympic scene

2004 and 2006

At the Summer Olympic Games in Athens alone, more than 200 athletes, coaches and officials were equipped with clothing and accessories from DIELSPORT.

In 2006, during the Winter Olympics in Turin, DIELSPORT was at its peak. The Bulgarian Olympic Committee liked the clothes so much that it was decided that the delegation would parade at the opening in DIELSPORT tracksuits instead of the official ones, as was traditional until then.

The power to grow and conquer new heights

2010 – 2018 years

Among all the new initiatives of the brand, the 24-hour work at the factory is growing and exceeding all limits. The company implements many innovative systems to produce new models, such as state-of-the-art sublimation printing technology, for example, to meet the needs of amateur climbers. It turns out that it is not for nothing that the company is included in the TOP-10 most modern production bases equipped for sports ski equipment in the world.

2010 marks the launch of DIEL®Sport CUP custom team uniforms, aimed at developing premium professional winter clothing for winter sports teams, ski clubs and schools, rescue teams and outdoor personnel.

In 2018, DIELSPORT introduced state-of-the-art sublimation printing technology, offering unlimited opportunities to create fully personalized designs in a variety of styles for a unique look, with high-resolution graphics and interwoven team and sponsor logos in the design.

However, to take a closer look at what exactly makes DIELSPORT clothing so special, we need to delve into the details. The four-layer system, consisting of the base, inner, middle and outer layers, provides maximum comfort and unsurpassed freedom to everyone who touches Bulgarian ski clothing. The idea of the base layer is to supplement the body’s natural mechanisms for heating and cooling, while the inner layer protects the skin from moisture and facilitates its evaporation. On the other hand, there is protection in the middle that serves to preserve body heat in extremely cold temperatures. Equally important is the outer layer, which is the boundary between “inside” and “outside” and protects against all weather conditions.
