
FC Craiova 1948 have announced the sale of tickets for their Super League match against FC Voluntari, but have sent a message to fans who will shout racist or xenophobic chants.

After losing the match against Sepsi at the green table as a result of racist and xenophobic messages from fans present at the arena in Sfianta Gheorghe, the officials of FC Craiova 1948 take action at the match against FC Voluntari and severely punish the fans who were determined to scandal.
“If during this sports event there will be demonstrations, incidents or other repeated activities that contradict the provisions of the FRF, LPF and the provisions of Law 4/2008, especially the provisions provided for in Art. 9, par. 1 and 3, related to Art. 20, Art. 10 of the said law, especially regarding xenophobic, racist shouts, insults and insults directed at officials, appropriate measures will be taken to evacuate persons who violate these provisions of the law or the relevant sector.” – says the club’s official press release.
The team from Olte still hopes to qualify for the playoffs and will challenge the decision of the disciplinary commission of the Romanian Football Federation in court.
FC Kraiova 1948 is in 8th place in the championship with 30 points, 7 behind Sepsi USK (6th place).
