Two-wheeled police teams DI.AS. arrested four defendants in the case of the theft of jewelry from a nursing home using an official method.

These are three people aged 40, 44, 33 and 38 years old, in respect of whom the Security Department opened a case against Pavel Melas.

In particular, yesterday at noon (02/13/2023) in the Stavropolis area, two detainees entered the apartment of elderly people after their accomplice appeared earlier, posing as an employee of an electric power company, while demanding monetary compensation from them.

Police officers who arrived at the scene detained two of the above, who were trying to hide from the lamp of an apartment building, and also detained two of their accomplices, who were found in a car in front of the house.

In addition, as a result of further investigation by the security department of Pavlos Melas, it turned out that the above-listed people broke into another house of an elderly person about ten days ago and took away various jewelry and documents.

It is noted that an arrest warrant is pending for one of the detainees, an investigator from the Thessaloniki Criminal Division, in a special theft case.

Those arrested will be taken to the competent judicial authorities.
