Ever since Idles introduced themselves to the general public with their debut album “Brutalism” in 2017, Idles have become one of the most dynamic names in the politically and socially conscious guitar sound, both in the excellent “Joy As An Act Of Resistance” and in 2018, as well as Ultra Mono (2020) and Creeper (2021).
His group Joe Talbot is preparing for the first time in several months to visit our country with a concert in Rock Theater V Saturday, September 30as his guest Pliskensky festival.
On the evening of December 7, 2019, Idles frontman Joe Talbot stopped on stage set in the great hall of London’s Alexandra Palace and looked into the faces of 9,000 people glowing in the light of the hall, a passionate and dedicated audience who joined to celebrate and took part in the band’s biggest show in the UK, saying “It’s scary…but it feels right”.
In the five years since the release of Brutalism, the British Idles have achieved a lot, including a number 1 album, millions of views, a growing audience, sold-out tours, festival appearances around the world and two Grammy nominations. Their next album, Joy as an Act of Resistance, established the band forever in the UK’s mind and paved the way for Ultra Mono, the band’s first #1 album. In 2021, the Bristol punks are back in full force with their fourth album Crawler, a melodic and sensual album that showcases their more introspective side.
