Southampton, who are bottom of the Premier League, have announced that they have axed manager Nathan Jones, who has only been in the job for three months.
Nathan Jones is no longer Southampton manager
On Saturday, Southampton suffered their 15th defeat in 22 matches (they have won four and drawn three) against Wolverhampton with a score of 2-1.
It was the team’s seventh defeat in the Championship under Jones, who left Luton (League Two) in November, ahead of the 2022 World Cup break, to replace four-year-old Ralf Hasenthüttle.
Southampton are currently 20th in the table with 15 points.
One of the coaches of the first team, Ruben Selles, will temporarily perform his duties, writes News.ro.
