Manuel Neuer could be fined the equivalent of a month’s salary, around €1.6 million

Severely injured while skiing, Manuel Neuer fell out with Bayern Munich’s management and lashed out at them after they sacked Toni Tapalovic, the coach he had worked with for 11 years.

On the Bayern Insider podcast, Christian Falk revealed that Manuel Neuer and Julian Nagelsmann discussed the German goalkeeper’s interview with The Athletic.

The management of Bayern Munich drew up a protocol and, according to BILD, he faces a fine of approximately 1.6 million euros (his monthly salary).

In this interview, Manuel Neuer said that this conflict with the management is “the worst that he had to experience in his career”.

In a similar situation, the former captain of the Bavarians, Philipp Lahm, was fined when Louis van Gaal was in charge of Bavaria. Lam then paid a fine of 50,000 euros.
