
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met on Thursday night in Rzeszów in southern Poland with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, returning from the EU summit in Brussels.
Zelensky informed Duda about the results of his meetings in Brussels, Paris and London, Duda’s foreign policy adviser Marcin Pshidach told the Polish agency PAP, DPA and Agerpres cite on Friday.
Other topics include the current situation on the Ukrainian front, security in the region, and Western efforts to provide military support to Kyiv against the Russian invasion that began almost a year ago.
On Thursday in Brussels, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the EU countries to increase this support, including by supplying additional weapons.
The Ukrainian president did the same – he met his Polish colleague at the Rzeszów airport – and at the end of last year, returning from a visit to the USA.
