Volkswagen ID.4 recall: software problem

According to the German manufacturer, the latest ID.4s do not suffer from this issue as they are equipped with a newer version of the malware, which has now been resolved. If your ID.4 was produced from January 21, 2022therefore, this reminder does not apply to you.

The vehicles affected by the recall have been identified by Volkswagen and it will receive a notification on the on-board computer until the end of the month of March 2023. Interested customers will then be invited to contact their regular dealer who will install the patch for free for the battery management control unit and the pulse inverter control unit.
