Clouds with local rain or sleet are expected today Friday in the east of the mainland and in the Aegean Sea.

Light snowfall will occur in the highlands and semi-mountains, as well as in the lower altitude areas of eastern Thessaly, eastern Sterea and Evia, which will gradually ease in the afternoon.

In eastern Sterea, Evia, eastern Peloponnese, in the south of the Ionian, in the center and in the south of the Aegean, cloudiness temporarily increased with light local rains, mainly in the south, and light snowfall in the mountains, with gradual improvement from noon and from the north.

In the rest of the territory, the weather is generally clear with some local cloud cover.

The wind will blow north-northeast, in the west and north with a force of 4-5 Beaufort, in other parts of 5-6, and in some places in the south of 7 Beaufort, will weaken from noon.

The temperature will not noticeably change. In the continental regions, frosts are observed in the morning and evening hours, in the central and northern regions, in some places, they are severe. Its maximum value will not exceed 7-8 degrees in the north and in the center, and in the west and south it will reach 12-13 degrees of heat.

In Crete and Dodecanese temporary local clouds with the possibility of light rain, mainly in the Dodecanese with gradual improvement. The rest of the country initially has mostly clear weather with some cloud cover in the west, center and north. Cloudiness will gradually increase, local rains are possible in the evening hours and light snowfalls in the northern mountains.

The wind will blow from the north direction from 4 to 5 points, and in the evening in the eastern seas northeast 6 points and in the Aegean Sea in some places 7 points on the Beaufort scale.
