After Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 003, the Chinese manufacturer presents Zikr X100% electric based compact SUV The SEA platform from Geely, which was shared, in particular, by Smart #1 and Volvo EX30.
And the Swedish manufacturer was involved in this project, as the Zeekr X was created in the group’s design studios located in Gothenburg, Volvo’s homeland. However, it stands out by adopting the “Krypton” style language of the Zeekr brand, with futuristic lines.

Zeekr X: a futuristic compact SUV
Measuring 4.45 meters long, 1.84 meters wide and 1.57 meters tall, all with a 2.75m wheelbase, the Zeekr X features an aggressive front end, two-piece headlamps and a sculpted hood. The lack of a grill is compensated by two large side air intakes on the shield.
In profile, the model does not surprise her no door handles and frameless mirrors that give it the look of a concept car. The sides are marked by sculptural wheel arches equipped with black guards, while a slanting stylish line creates a hook on the rear door.
The rear will not be left out: the light design that stretches across the entire width of the car, the illuminated Zeekr logo, as well as a small spoiler integrated in the upper part of the tailgate to optimize aerodynamics. The roof is painted black, and we’re guessing the catalog will offer several combinations to personalize your copy of the Zeekr X.
Zeekr X: Sports performance
Even if the technical description of the Zeekr X has not yet been revealed, the Chinese manufacturer has already announced that the model will be able to swallow Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds.
According to the latest information, the Zeekr SUV should have the same engines as the Smart #1, namely an electric motor from 272 horsepoweras well as a more powerful version with two electric motors, and is developing to 428 horsepower. In Smart, the model has a Battery 66 kWhwhich we should probably also find in its Chinese cousin.
Zeekr X will soon be sold in Asia, second quarter of 2023. We will have to wait until the end of 2023 to see the new electric compact SUV in Europe, starting with the Scandinavian countries. We should finally find it in France by early 2024.
