In the prefecture of Pella, chains are needed to the Voras (Kaimaktsalan) ski center, and in Chalkidiki, chains are needed on the old national road Thessaloniki – Ierissu (Paleokastro – Taxiarchis), from the 76th to the 85th kilometer and from the 54th to the 70th.

For the smooth and safe conduct of car traffic, due to the storm wind blowing in the area, since yesterday noon, a ban on the movement of all vehicles over 3.5 tons has been introduced in both traffic flows of the Egnatia road, between the uneven intersection of Vafeikos Xanthi, the Iasmos fork and the western fork Komotini.

Traffic regulations will be in effect as long as adverse weather conditions prevail in the area, and the movement of the above vehicles will be carried out through the national network Xanthi – Porto Lagos – Komotini.

In the prefecture of Florina, chains or special tires are required on the national road Florina – Crystallopigi border station and on the provincial road Florina – Kastoria (via Vitsiu) from km 15 to 30.

On Egnatia Odos, vehicular traffic is carried out without problems.
