
Romania will produce ground-based military systems, gunpowder and explosives following the signing of a memorandum between the national company Romarm SA and Hanhwa Aerospace, which is scheduled for Monday morning.
Economy Minister Florin Spataru holds a press conference on Monday after signing a Memorandum of Understanding on industrial cooperation between the national company Romarm SA and Hanhwa Aerospace for the production of ground military systems, gunpowder and explosives in Romania’s Ministry of Economy reported.
According to the quoted source, the Memorandum of Understanding between the two companies opens up opportunities for Romarm to export products and services worldwide, with the possibility of becoming one of Hanwha’s European suppliers.
Minister of Economy Florin Spataru, Rim Kap-Su, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Romania, President and CEO of Hanwha Aerospace Jaeil Son and representatives of the national company Romarm SA will take part in the conference.
