Roger Federer is closing in on becoming a BBC commentator at Wimbledon

According to the journalists of The Telegraph, Mister Perfect may cooperate with the BBC this summer on the occasion of the Wimbledon tournament.

The quoted source says that discussions between the two sides are underway, and tennis fans could enjoy comments from the great Swiss champion on the occasion of the London Grand Slam.

At the age of 41, Federer has won the All England Club 8 times in his career (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2017).

Sue Barker will be missing from the Wimbledon squad – she has decided to retire after 22 years in the commentator’s chair.

The producers will also refuse the services of Boris Becker, who was released from prison in December of last year.

The 136th Wimbledon tournament will be held from July 3 to 16, 2023.
