Special Court: D. Papagelopoulos finished his speech

He finished his testimony before the Special Court on ministerial responsibility, former Deputy Minister of Justice Dimitris Papagelopoulos, who is on trial along with the former head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Eleni Toulupakis.

Mr. Papagelopoulos noted that his reference to Special Court is an unconstitutional, illegal and semi-state method, and he once again spoke of lies, hostility and slander against him.

At the same time, Mr. Papagelopoulos’ fire was retaken by prosecutors Panagiotis Athanasiou, Georgia Tsatani and Eleni Raikou, who condemned him for interference and pressure in their work, while he accused them of hatred, lies and revenge.

As for Georgia Zatani, the defendant claimed that he had a “mission” to prosecute the deceased businessman Andreas Vgenopoulos and tried to “lure” him into a trap.

“It was a well-planned plan, a real conspiracy, to bury Vgenopoulos’ duties. Her task was to archive Vgenopoulos,” said Mr. Papagelopoulos. Elsewhere, Mr. Papagelopoulos indicated that he and his family were being vilified.

More, Mr. Papagelopoulos revealed that his conversations at Megaros Maximos with Nikos Pappa and businessman Sambi Mionis were illegally recorded.characteristically saying:

“I was a victim of surveillance long before the predators were discovered. There were headlines: “The secret services locked Mimi”, “EFP and the Israelis listened to Papagelopoulos.” How was I followed? I have never seen the relevant decision of the prosecutor. But they wrote them. Why; Were they setting the stage for the illegal tape recordings of Myonis in Megaron Maximos?”
