CS Mioveni had only one win in 21 games, before the arrival of Nicolae Dike. With the former FCSB coach on the bench, the Red Lanterns managed to win both of their 2023 matches.

Having signed Bohdan Rusa, Aleksandra Greb, Shakil Sno, Dylan Mbumbuni, Amin Benhaib, Brent Lepista and Amda Diallo, Mioveni has also been strengthened by Maroc Pedroso, Gheorghe Hagi’s former player at Viitorul.

“I thank the people of Mioveni for being here. When I heard that they wanted me, I talked to my former colleagues and they told me good things about the team. I have played here before and I know the championship. I want to win every game.

We were with Viitorul in the playoffs, and then we played in the Conference League playoffs!” Pedroso told the club’s official website.

CS Mioveni is in 16th place in the Super League ranking, having scored 15 points.
