Two people found an ingenious way to hide their drugs in a village in Larissa.

In particular, they put the drugs in barrels and buried them deep in the ground, not counting the police dog who discovered them, as a result of which the police “unearthed” a total of 71 kilograms of cannabis.

One of the two men was arrested the day before in a drug case in the rural area of ​​Keeler municipality, where a large amount of dried cannabis (35 kg) was found.

For the case of EL.AS. issued a statement saying: “Following an ongoing investigation this morning by police officers of the Drug Enforcement Administration of the Larissa Security Sub-Department in the overgrown countryside of the Keeleler municipality of Larissa, with the assistance of a police drug detection dog, they were found in plastic barrels buried in land, and seized:

• 50 nylon packages of dried cannabis with a total weight of 51,742 grams, plus
• amount of dried hemp weighing 20 kg.

All quantities of hemp that were found on the spot and confiscated were placed for the purpose of their further circulation, and the detainee, another local resident and their unknown accomplices are guilty of the cases.
