Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, an apartment building in the center of Athens was shelled.

According to ERT, unidentified persons approached the entrance to the building and planted an incendiary device, consisting of a bottle of flammable liquid and a lighter. They then lit it, starting a small fire that was noticed by passers-by and quickly extinguished before spreading and causing more damage.

The source of the fire damaged the door and entrance of the apartment building, and also found the remains of an incendiary device.
