Twelve soldiers were injured Germany – one of them is serious – when two Puma armored personnel carriers collided during the exercises.

The accident happened this morning at the German Armed Forces Training Center in Gardelegen, Saxony-Anhalt, during an exercise by the 9th Tank Training Brigade.

Two tanks collided while reversing at high speed, injuring twelve soldiers. One of them suffered a serious back injury and was airlifted to a local hospital. As it became known, nothing threatens his life.
