The former Minister of Economy, Deputy USR Claudio Nesui said on Wednesday night on Prima News TV about Romarm head Gabriel Tsutsa, who is being investigated by DNA in a case that also involves former breeder Viktor Pitsurka, that he had a very bad relationship with him and that he wanted him to change and even started the procedure, but he had a contract that was drawn up in such a way “that it was very difficult to fire him because it was necessary to pay a lot of compensatory wages”.
“I had a very bad relationship, I wanted to change him, I started the procedure, but he had such a contract that it was very difficult to release him, you had to pay a lot of compensation.” , former Economy Minister Claudio Nesui said, revealing that “he doesn’t think it was a legal contract, but it has to be proven,” News.ro reported.
“What I discovered when I was Minister of Economy, you should know that I lodged complaints with the competent authorities because I discovered and had evidence to hand over,” Nasui said.
He continued: “Tsutsu stayed, even though he was appointed by Virgil Popescu before me, thanks to this unique contract. There were more than 70 companies under my command, none of which had such a contract as Mr. Tsutsu’s,” the UDR deputy noted.
The former Minister of Economy stated that “when the procedure for the dismissal of the head of Romarma began, in fact, when the documents began to be drawn up and he found out about it quite quickly, some attacks began on him.” “They made me think a little bit,” added Nasui.
He stated that the head of Romarma “remained during the period of the current minister.” “I don’t know what the interaction of the current PSD minister, Mr. Spataru, was with Mr. Ţuţu, anyway it’s good that the Romanian state is getting rid of him, the bad part is that it’s not only about Mr. Ţuţu,” commented Claudiu Carry
DNA allegations in this case
The Bucharest court decided to place Alexandra Pitsurke and Romarm director Gabriel Tsutsa under judicial control in the DNA file.
Viktor Pitsurke’s son, Aleksandra, is accused of buying influence. According to DNA, he would accept the terms put forward by Gabriel Tsutsu, director of Romarm.
“Against the background of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, in the period 19.03.2020 – 10.04.2020, the businessman would have directly accepted the conditions put forward by the defendant Ţuţu Gabriel, in exchange for which the latter would have allowed himself to consider that he had influence over some officials as part of M.Ap.N. and that this would result in them directly and without public procedures entrusting contracts for the supply of protective equipment against the coronavirus to an association of which the company managed by the defendant was also a part. In addition, the defendant Ţuţu Gabriel allegedly promised that he would force the same officials to accept the corresponding products, even if they do not meet the requirements, and to pay the invoices issued in this regard on time,” DNA reports.
And Viktor Pitsurka is still under judicial control.
Aleksandra Pitsurka was detained on Tuesday after several hours of hearings in the DNA in the case of the purchase of inappropriate masks against the pandemic. The prosecutor’s office requested preventive arrest.
