RedBull will unveil its new single-seater on February 3rd in New York, and speculation is starting to multiply about a new engine supplier for the Austrian team. The specialized press is increasingly talking about the return of the automotive giant Ford to Formula 1.

Ford is approaching cooperation with RedBull

Ferrari, Honda, Mercedes and Renault already participate in the Grand Circus, and Audi will enter the Grand Circus from 2026.

The specialist press reports that Ford is close to returning to Formula 1, as it is a partnership with RedBull.

Major changes to engine regulations will come into effect from 2026, and this could be the perfect opportunity for Ford to return to the starting grid.

An important name in Formula 1 history, Ford achieved Grand Prix success with Cosworth and recently partnered with Jaguar before the team was bought by RedBull.

Reigning world champion RedBull will switch to RedBull Powertrains with changes in engine regulations.

Rumors are swirling around Formula 1 that Ford is partnering with Red Bull Powertrains in 2026 to develop a new engine for the team.

“Formula 1 is strong and growing both in the US and around the world. It’s a great competition that has managed to reach new audiences with products like Drive to Survive (Netflix).
