Ivanisevic talks about the toughest moment Nola had to overcome in Melbourne: his third-round match against Grigor Dimitrov.

Former Wimbledon winner Goran says that physically it was the toughest match for Nole, his moves are far from what Joker might normally look like.

It was this match that Ivanishevich was most afraid of. Fortunately, Grigor Dimitrov chose the wrong tactics, Goran believes.

With obvious mobility and movement issues, Novak could very easily be pushed out of his comfort zone with shorts. For the entire match, Dimitrov sent only a few, and in the end the game followed a tactical plan that suited the Serb.

“In the first two rounds, the opponents were available, so we thought everything would be fine.

Dimitrov simply played incorrectly from a tactical point of view, his coach or even he himself did not choose the right plan,” says Goran Ivanishevich.

“Novak couldn’t move normally on the court, and Grigor played two, maybe three short ones for the whole match. I would play 300 without any problems,” Ivanishevich added.

Djokovic defeated Dimitrov in three sets (7-6(7), 6-3, 6-4) after a match that lasted three hours and seven minutes.

Injured during the semifinal match in Adelaide, Djokovic turned to the famous Marjana Kovacevich for help during the Grand Slam in Melbourne.
