
Ukraine expects to receive 120 to 140 tanks in the “first wave” of deliveries from a coalition of 12 countries, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Tuesday, citing Reuters.
- “Now the tank coalition has 12 members. In the first wave of contributions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 120 to 140 Western-style tanks,” Kuleba said during an online briefing.
Last week, a group of Western nations pledged to supply modern main battle tanks to Ukraine after Germany confirmed it would send Leopard 2 tanks and the United States announced it would supply Kyiv with M1 Abrams tanks.
