Three people died today as a result of Russian airstrikes in the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine, and a hospital and a school were destroyed, authorities in the region said.
“Today, as a result of Russian shelling, three people were killed (two men and a woman) and six were injured. Civilian infrastructure was destroyed from enemy strikes: the Kherson regional hospital, a school, a bus station, a post office, a bank and residential buildings,” the local administration said in a message on the Telegram app.
Kherson was occupied by Russian forces from the early days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine until it was recaptured by Ukrainian forces in November.
