SYRIZA-PS accuses the Prime Minister of “deceiving pensioners” in connection with his recent statements from Crete.
In his statement, Komunduru states: “Mr. Mitsotakis forgets that:
– I cut the 13th pension, but promised to keep it in order to give this money for the privatization of DSO.
– Deprived retroactively for surcharges and gifts awarded to the CE.
– He even taxed the retrospective returns he returned for basic pensions, resulting in thousands of retirees getting the amounts they are entitled to, even reduced by up to 50%.
– He made a “sea” with pension recalculations, giving less money to pensioners who continue to either have a personal difference and be excluded from present and future increases, or receive less money than they should.
– He cut the second people’s pension for widows and the disabled and gave a second pension to thousands of former and current members of parliament, prefects, vice-prefects, mayors, vice-mayors, etc.
– The current increases have been determined by the SYRIZA law since 2017, but with 15% food inflation, even this is not enough.
– He left poor pensioners without support, who instead of the 13th pension received meager benefits (250 and 200 euros) completely disproportionately, with that huge wave of precision that swept Greek society.
Otherwise, the account is baffled on Mr. Mitsotakis’ broken promises to return to investment grade.
As for the hundreds of projects he allegedly made in Crete, even the models laugh at him.”
