Milan Skriniar signed a contract with PSG – the defender refused to extend his contract with Inter

At the age of 27, Milan Skriniar started professional football in Žilina, and was loaned to FC Vion Zlate Moravce for a year.

In 2016, he moved to Serie A at Sampdoria, and Inter bought him in the summer of 2017 for 34 million euros.

He played 242 matches for the Nerazzurri team, with which he won the Italian title, the Cup and two Super Cups.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Saturday evening that the defender has agreed with Paris Saint-Germain and will play at Parc des Princes from next season.

As such, he will join the Ligue 1 champions on a free transfer as he is in the final 6 months of his contract with Inter.

Paris Saint-Germain also tried to buy him in the summer of 2022, but Inter have clarified that they are only considering offers of €80m or more.

Skriniar was also in the sights of Manchester United and Tottenham, but the central defender did not consider these options.
