Chindia Târgoviște got a big win away to Petrolul, returning to the standings after leading and winning the 23rd Super League stage.

Nicolae Konstantin’s men opened the scoring in the 27th minute thanks to Gik Grozav, who confidently converted a shot from 11 meters after Dean’s foul in the penalty area on Robert Moldovana.

The changes made after the break by Tony Petrea paid off and Chindia equalized in the 70th minute after Cooper headed in a cross from Vorobyovas.

Striker Daniel Popa converted a penalty in the 85th minute after a combination with Cooper, the ball stopped in the mud in the penalty area, and then was sent into the goal.

Chindia leaves the hot zone of the rating and climbs to the 9th position with 25 points, while Petrolul, after the second consecutive defeat, remains in the 7th place with 30 points.
