Goalkeeper Florin Nice, long out of favor at Sparta Prague, has been loaned to the Czech Premier League until the summer before becoming a free agent.
Florin Nice will play for FC Pardubice
Having been with Sparta Prague since 2018 following his move from FCSB, Nice enjoyed a very good spell in a Czech shirt, becoming a legitimate starter in goal for Romania following the retirement of Cipriani Tetarušanu.
After a lackluster spell, the Romanian goalkeeper was dropped from the starting line-up, saying at the time that he wanted to leave the team he last played for in 2021.
After reaching the fourth goalkeeper of Sparta Prague, Nice refused to leave, although the club announced that he could sign with any other team.
He has now decided to continue playing in the Czech Republic on loan until the end of this season, when his contract with Sparta Prague expires.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper’s new team, FC Pardubice, are bottom of the Czech Republic with just 10 points from 16 matches.
