
According to a special forecast published on Saturday by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) and cited by Agerpres, the weather in the capital will remain cloudy, with moderate snow and light to moderate winds.
According to meteorologists, moderate snow will fall in Bucharest until 10:00 on Sunday, an average of 10 l/m2, the wind will be weak and moderate, gusts will not exceed 30-35 km/h.
The snow layer varies in thickness, from 8 to 10 cm, and in the following hours a new, uneven layer of snow will settle, the thickness of which is usually 6-7 cm.
The maximum temperature will be 0-1 degree, the minimum – minus 2 – minus 1 degree.
The ANM has issued a new weather warning on Saturday, which sets a yellow code for quantitatively moderate snow and blizzard conditions in southeastern Romania until 10:00 a.m. Sunday. According to ANM, from 14:00 on January 28 to 10:00 on January 29, snow will continue to fall in Dobruja, in the east of Muntenia, in the southern half of Moldova, as well as in the Carpathian region of Kurbura. (in general, they will accumulate 15-20 l/m2) and lay a layer of snow.
The counties that received the warning: Bacău, Vaslui, Vranca, Galaţi, Prahova, Brasov (south), Covasna (southeast), Buzău, Braila, Bucharest, Ilfov, Giurgiu, Calarasi, Constanta and Tulcea.
