Former Romanian presidential candidate from the Humanist Party, Dana Voiculescu, has joined the AUR. “People ask me why I joined AUR, how is it possible that I, with the profile of a calculated person, with a corporate background, quite liberal, a businessman married to a banker, could I have made such a choice? “, – writes Ioana Ramona Bruynsels on Facebook.

According to Mediafax, Ramona Ioana Bruncils is a graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government with a degree in Public Administration Management.

Position of former presidential candidate:

“My dear,

I signed up for GOLD because I’ve had enough! I saw both from the outside and from the inside what politics is, who governs us and how he does it. I also saw and listened to what was said to me on the street.

What options did we have? To follow the traditional idea of growing up in politics, entering a classic political “family” where my voice would probably be lost, or to follow this path of subversive formation, where I am free and where, together with my colleagues, we really try to restore trust people to Romania.

I am not a supporter of violence, but I am a supporter of respect for people and our country. I found this respect, started from the heart, both in the AUR and in the life philosophy of the party leaders. If for the sake of respect, dignity and a better life for every soul in this country we have to stand in the streets every day, I will have no problem doing it with those who think so.

I confess that my decision was influenced by the fact that AUR is a strong party that is already in the parliament. And that’s because I’ve seen what it’s like to be in small groups, to talk quietly. Wanting to do it, but not having the necessary platform, being unknown, not having the opportunity to develop. The feeling of sitting on the bench and scoring goals on the pitch is painful and frustrating, and I’m ready to take on more.

The fact that I could have a normal conversation with George Simion was also of great importance. Accustomed to the arrogance and stubbornness of those who rule us, to their fear of communicating openly, we are used to appreciating when a political leader behaves normally and speaks openly. Sad for Romanian society, but a great opportunity for AUR, for those who still believe in sincerity and authenticity.

My dears, AUR is neither an extremist, nor a pro-Russian, nor a hooligan party. Being a patriot does not mean being an extremist. I’m not even talking about being pro-Russian, you know I couldn’t join a team with that kind of vision. lar about hooligans, for example, I did not meet them in AUR. Instead, I met young patriots who dream of a Greater Romania, wonderful doctors, university professors, small and large entrepreneurs, honest people who work hard to keep their children in college, people who are upset and disappointed after many lies and broken promises, real doctors and graduate students in various fields, Romanians who left the country, who suffer because they want to return, but are afraid to do so, because they no longer believe in anyone or anything from here.

Because life has given me a lot of experience, because I know what it’s like to be poor, but also to have everything, because my mother, with a high school education, worked three shifts most of her life, and I finished a Harvard degree because my brother was in Spain for 20 years and went through difficulties, I understand all of them and identify with their wishes, expectations and hope that Romania will once again be a HOME for all Romanians. That’s why I’m in GOLD!

friends,

AUR is a completely different team than what the propaganda of those who do not want to bring real change to Romania tell us. AUR is a team that will grow and that will prove that Romania can be a leader with many in mind!”
