Nicolò Talamanca, one of the key figures implicated in the QatarGate scandal, has appealed the decision of the Brussels Pre-trial Chamber to extend his pre-trial detention for another month, nieuwsblad.be reports, citing Talamanca’s lawyer.

We remind you that Nicolò Talamanca appeared before the court yesterday, Thursday, as well as Francesco Giorgi, both are in custody for another month.

According to nieusblad.eu, it is not yet clear whether Georgy’s side will appeal this decision.

It should be noted that on December 9, Nicolò Talamanca and Francesco Giorgi, as well as Eva Kaili and Antonio Panzeri, were arrested.
